Farmer Leaves a Bold Message Written in Fresh Snow

A South Dakota family farm has gone viral after turning fresh snow into an unforgettable holiday message. Prunty Farms, a fifth-generation family operation, shared a video showing farmer Dan Prunty using a John Deere 6400 tractor to write “Merry Christmas” in flowing cursive across 10 inches of snow. The stunning footage, titled “Deere Tracks,” was filmed from above by Dan’s son, Adam Prunty, using a drone. The aerial view captured the precise tractor movements as the holiday message slowly took shape in the snow-covered field.

Adam later explained that the process was done freehand. He first practiced the route himself, then filmed his father recreating the design while piloting the drone. The result was both mesmerizing and unexpected, quickly gaining attention online and introducing many viewers to the idea of tractor snow art.
