Her co-star Keiran Lee made viral claims that she had ‘nearly died’ after filming
A few years ago, Keiran Lee caught a lot of attention online after saying his co-star Angela White had ‘almost died’ following a day of filming together.
While that statement turned out to be more dramatic than accurate, there was still some truth behind it, as the Australian adult star did end up needing emergency surgery soon after.
The 41-year-old is not only known for her work in the industry but also for her academic background. She holds a first-class honors degree in gender studies, where she researched women’s experiences within the Australian adult industry.
Having worked in the industry since 2003, White has built a long career and experienced many different situations over the years.
One of those moments resurfaced when Lee spoke on the Pillow Talk podcast in 2023. He claimed he had ‘put her into hospital’ after they filmed a scene together back in 2013.
“This was actually not on purpose,” he explained, adding that the scene had gone on for over an hour.

“After that, I’m like, ‘See you, sweetheart. [Have a] lovely day’,” he said while recalling what happened.
He went on to say that he later heard White had been dealing with stomach pain, which raised concern after filming had already finished.
“She said her stomach was hurting, and she had to go see a doctor,” Lee added, explaining what he had been told about her condition at the time.
“Apparently her appendix burst in the scene, which could have killed her,” he claimed on the podcast, before continuing: “I don’t know but listen, I could have killed Angela White on our first scene.”
Despite everything, the two appear to have stayed on good terms. They even went on to film more scenes together later on.
What Angela White says actually happened
While Lee’s version of events spread widely online, White later spoke out to explain what really happened from her perspective.
Appearing on the Only Stans podcast with host Glenny Balls, the three-time AVN Female Performer of the Year made it clear that her appendix had not actually burst, despite what had been suggested.
The award-winning performer, who is estimated to have a net worth of around $10,000,000, added: “But it is true I had appendicitis and did have to have emergency surgery to have it removed.”

Appendicitis can become serious if not treated quickly, and in some cases it can lead to the appendix bursting.
It is a painful condition caused by inflammation, and common symptoms include stomach pain that may come and go, nausea, loss of appetite, and changes in bowel movements.
White explained that the timing of the pain during filming was most likely just a coincidence and not something directly caused by the scene itself.

The adult star has been candid about her career in the adult industry
She later made light of the situation, joking: “But there’s more room in there, now that [my appendix] has been removed! There’s a lot more room to accommodate.”
The star also shared more details on social media, adding: “They had to make an incision above my pubic bone and at my hip. The scarring was minimal and the recovery was pretty fast. I did a porn expo four days after surgery.”
White has continued to speak openly about her career over the years. She has shared insights into her experiences and answered many of the questions people often have about her work.
