Ben Affleck confirms his real penis was shown in this R-rated movie

Fans were left stunned after a surprising confession from Ben Affleck resurfaced, and it’s got everyone talking all over again. The Hollywood star once revealed that a very intimate moment in his career was 100% real.

Ben Affleck didn’t spare any details when he revealed what’s possibly his most intimate moment from a film he’s starred in. In the hit thriller Gone Girl, with a cast consisting of Ben Affleck, Emily Ratajkowski, Rosamund Pike, and Neil Patrick Harris, the actor wasn’t shy to show himself on screen. And with that, we mean everything.

Gone Girl went on to be nominated for a handful of prestigious awards, including an Oscar and a BAFTA. To this day, twelve years after its release, the film has an 88 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes. Perhaps one nude scene helped with the impressive rating?

One of, if not the, most talked-about scenes in the film involves a brief nude shot that, on close inspection, appears to reveal Ben Affleck’s penis. Once viewers noticed it, the internet quickly erupted.

The split-second scene remained a topic of conversation even weeks later. The cast and crew, including Affleck himself, have since commented on the now-notorious moment.

Many actors have used prosthetics in nude scenes, which isn’t strange at all. However, Affleck went natural, showing off his “package” on the big screen.

In 2014, speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Ben Affleck said, “I want to take this opportunity to thank David [Fincher] for the way he treated me.”

“In particular, we had a shower scene in the movie. And David assured me, because trust is essential with directors and actors: ‘Listen, if we tilt down we will never go far enough to see anything.’ So thank you David.”

Affleck continued, “And I’d like to thank you for keeping the set cool. Because if you are gonna have one chance for America to see your junk you want it to be cold. It’s a real gift.”

At the time, Ben Affleck was married to actress Jennifer Garner. She also addressed the fact that her husband had a nude scene in the film.

“What I have to say is – you’re welcome,” she told Ellen DeGeneres. “You know, I try to consider myself a charitable person and I wanted to give back,” she went on.

Recalling the moment Ben Affleck came home and described the shower scene, Garner continued, “It was a discussion. It was like ‘Hey, um at work today [director David] Fincher talked me into coming out of the shower.’ And I was like, ‘Cool, well I hope he had on a wide lens.’”
